Throughout the year, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by our “Random Acts of Fun.” You’ll never know what to expect… it might be cookies in the golf shop, fresh apples in a barrel on the course, games at the range or giveaways just for “fun”. Our Random Acts of Fun are designed to express warmth and gratitude as we endeavor to “love, serve and deliver fun for all!”
Greenway Golf is another name you’ll come to know here. As of September 1, 2012, Greenway proudly took over the operations of the complex, both on and off the course. No one in the golf industry has a commitment to Fun like Greenway and a track record of worldwide course maintenance accomplishments. Greenway is now in the process of implementing numerous course and facility renovations at the Chuck Corica Golf Complex. www.greenwaygolf.com
Major improvements underway include:
- Renovation of practice range to include natural grass and contouring target greens
- Complete reshaping and grassing of the par-3 course
- Complete renovation of the Jack Clark South Course by world renowned golf architect Rees Jones. When completed, Alameda will have the only Rees Jones-designed golf course in the East Bay Area.
- New cart paths, improved drainage and grassing of the Earl Fry North Course
The only 45-hole golf complex in the East Bay.
Earl Fry. Jack Clark. Mif Albright. No, these are not the next rising stars on the pro tour. They are the names proudly given to the three golf courses here at Chuck Corica Golf Complex, each of which has its own personality and reputation.
Earl Fry North Course is an 18-hole, parkland course with tree-lined fairways. It’s a little shorter than the Jack Clark South Course, features more dog legs and has water is in play on 13 holes. This course is a lot of fun to play.
Jack Clark South Course is an 18-hole, links-style course, the more challenging of the two 18-hole courses. It’s more open off the tee and a little more exposed to wind.
Mif Albright Par 3 Course: An enjoyable 9-hole, par-3 course that plays from 47-196 yards each hole. It’s great for beginners, juniors, seniors, short-game practice or just quick fun with friends.
Come for golf. Stay for the camaraderie.
The fun doesn’t end after your round. Stay with friends for a drink or meal at Jim’s on the Course, a grill so good it’s known throughout Alameda. Open daily, this full service restaurant takes care of our golfers from breakfast to happy hour to dinner.
